
In Rwanda, a cabinet meeting chaired by President Paul Kagame on March 26 appointed new officials to various institutions.
Col. Pacifique Kayigamba Kabanda has been appointed Secretary General of the Rwanda Investigation Bureau (RIB), replacing Jeannot Ruhunga.
Kabanda was until his appointment to the helm of the investigative body, working as the chief military prosecutor.
Jeanne Umuhire was appointed Deputy Director General of Rwanda Biomedical Centre (RBC), replacing Noella Bigirimana.
Nassi Agaba Bisengo was appointed Deputy Director General of Rwanda Technical and Vocational Education Training Board (RTB).
Meanwhile, John Bosco Nkuranga was appointed Coordinator of the Strategic Projects Implementation Unit in the Ministry of Education while Dorian Cyubahiro was named Chief Technical Advisor in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning.
The Rwanda Atomic Energy Board got Joram Ndayishimye as Head of the Nuclear Technologies and Research Development Department, Capt. Agnes Mutoni was appointed as Head of the Nuclear Safety and Security Department, Eng. Alexis Ruhinda as Manager of the Research Reactor Division, and Eng. Yves Butera as Manager of the Nuclear Power Production Development Division.
In the Office of the Prime Minister, Chantal Tuyishimire was appointed Senior Policy Analyst, Françoise Niyigena as Policy Analyst, Oscar Uwayo as Policy Analyst, and Ornella Rwanziza as Policy Analyst.
At the National Electoral Commission, Oda Gasinzigwa had her term renewed as the the Chairperson while Kizito Habimana was announced as the Vice Chairperson.
Commissioners include Fortunée Nyiramadirida, Nicole Mutimukeye, Carine Umwali, Jean Bosco Mutijima, Faustin Semanywa, Françoise Kabanda Uwera, and Judith Mbabazi.
