The ADEPR Ruyenzi Church, located in Runda Sector, Kamonyi District, is currently constructing a modern church building worth 1 billion Rwandan francs.
From the main Ruyenzi road, the church is situated about 300 meters along the Gihara road. The structure, which is being built in a contemporary architectural style, aims to glorify God and provide believers with a comfortable and modern place of worship.
According to the construction committee, the project is now about 60% complete and is expected to be finished by the end of 2026. The total cost is estimated to exceed 1 billion Rwandan francs.
The architectural design of the church reveals that it will be a magnificent and spacious building capable of accommodating more than 2,000 people seated comfortably. Parking will not be a problem, as the plan includes a large parking area for vehicles. The design also features a well-organized and advanced sound system section to ensure that every word, song, or testimony can be clearly heard by everyone inside.
In addition, the master plan shows that the church will have modern, well-arranged seats, wide open spaces at the front and back, and a beautifully designed garden surrounding the building.
Niyo Vincent, a gospel artist and a member of the committee overseeing the construction, described the project as a “work of faith,” emphasizing that every believer has the opportunity to participate in this journey.
He said, “This is not only for those who worship here; it’s for all who love God. Building His house is a great honor. Anyone who contributes — financially or through physical labor — is writing their name in heaven’s book of blessings.”
He went on to explain that many people have already pledged their support, either by donating money or volunteering their labor. He also encouraged all Rwandans with a heart for God to take part in this noble cause.
The construction committee and church leaders noted that the contribution process is simple and transparent. Those who wish to support the project can use the following channels:

Church leaders believe that building this temple is an act of love and dedication from the believers.
“No one should be left out of this blessing. God will not ask why you didn’t receive, but why you didn’t give. When we give, we don’t lose — we are sowing seeds in the field of blessings,” they said.
They added that everyone who contributes, whether in Rwanda or abroad, is taking part in the divine promise found in Hebrews 6:10: “God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people.”
The Ruyenzi Church joins a growing list of modern temples being built by ADEPR across the country, as part of its mission to construct contemporary worship spaces equipped with quality sound systems, large parking areas, and comfortable seating.
ADEPR says this project reflects its new vision — combining spiritual and physical development — ensuring that believers can worship God in a peaceful, dignified, and beautiful environment.
